WOMEN'S PASTORAL ISSUES

The women's action/reflection program is
designed by a coordinating group of
representatives from each mission and church.

The theme that inspires this ministry is:

"Growing together in the love of God". To achieve this, the
coordinators organize visits, prayer meetings,
recreational activities to commune with nature, and
theological reflection workshops to deepen biblical knowledge.

Program goals:

1. Create home businesses for income generation by producing clothes, ceramics and leather products.  These micro enterprises permit the family to enter into the productive field.

2. Utilize the talents of women to benefit the work of evangelism in marginal urban neighborhoods.

3. Establish networks of friendship and cooperation with people of the community.

4. Work on self-esteem and gender issues.
